Richard Guiney
Our Managing Director is a Chartered Accountant, Fellow of the Institute of Place Management and a Member of the Irish Taxation Institute.

A former CEO of Dublin Town, Dublin city centre’s Business Improvement District, he has global recognition as a thought leader in the field of place management. He has served on the boards of the UK based Association of Town and City Management (ATCM) and the Global Business Districts Innovation Club. He brought Purple Flag to Ireland and Chaired Purple Flag Ireland when over Irish 20 town centres gained this prestigious award.

Richard was honoured to be asked by Taoiseach Simon Harris to serve on the Taoiseach’s Taskforce for Dublin which produced a programme of 10 Big Moves aimed at rejuvenating Dublin city centre. His insights have been sought by leading academic institutions while he has also spoken at conferences on various topics throughout the world.

A strong advocate for the arts in Ireland, Richard has served on the boards of prominent national organisations including the Irish Film Institute, Irish Baroque Orchestra, Visual Artists Ireland and Coisceim Dance Theatre. His interest in community development has been evidenced by his role on the boards of the Ana Liffey Drug Project, Dublin Inner City Drug and Alcohol Taskforce, Bradog Youth Service and Safe Ireland.

Richard is a straight talker who has advised many commercial and not-for-profit organisations regarding financial and organisational structures. He has performed several value for money audits and is a regular media contributor on various topics.
